Well done Frogmore!
GLF Teacher Training News
Frogmore Junior School is part of the GLF teacher training program, providing us with exciting opportunities to welcome SCITT students from various schools. Recently, two SCITT students visited us as part of their intensive training placement. Trainees visited different classrooms throughout the day to observe a variety of lessons. Both students were overwhelmingly positive about their experience during those two days and left us with very positive feedback. Well done, Frogmore!
One student said:
'All the staff members at Frogmore were incredibly welcoming, creating an atmosphere that put both myself and the other trainee at ease. I want to specifically acknowledge Mrs Dillon, who not only proved to be very helpful but supported my personal development throughout the ITAP. Her guidance allowed me the freedom to observe lessons that best support my practice.'
The other student said:
'Thank you so much for allowing us to come and visit Frogmore. The staff was incredibly welcoming and supportive during our visit. It was incredibly beneficial to see how other schools in our cluster are teaching the curriculum and observing how they implement different pedagogy practices in different year groups and classes. I learned so much these days and I know it has a positive impact on my own teaching practices. Thank you again for welcoming us into your school.'
