NSPCC Number Day 2024

Posted on: 7/01/2024

On 2nd February 2024, in support of the NSPCC, Frogmore Junior School will be hosting our Annual Number Day.

An important part of the day is to 'Take up the challenge and Dress up for Digits.' We ask children and staff to wear an item of clothing with a number on it and make a £1 donation. This can be a favourite sports top, cap, onesie, or, better yet, get creative and design a unique t-shirt or hat.

During the afternoon maths activities, the children will enjoy a range of engaging games, maths challenges, and will learn how maths is an important part of our everyday life.

There is another reason why taking part in Number Day is so important - we have the opportunity to raise money for thousands of children all over the country who are being helped by the NSPCC, a charity that provides support and tips to help keep children safe, from advice on children's mental health to staying safe online, support for parents, and what to do if you're worried about a child.
